Anyone with an email address has received some sort of email marketing in their lifetime. Email marketing campaigns will let a company get the word out to other people, and current customers as well, through email services. If you're interested in email marketing, read this article for tips to get started.

Don't include anyone on your marketing email list who hasn't asked to be there. Most people treat email from unknown parties as spam. They will wonder if they know you and whether or not they care about what you're offering. They will just send your email to their spam folder, and it will be a huge waste of your time.

Find out who your audience is and then target their wants and needs. As you increase your readership, encourage your subscribers to have their friends opt-in to receive your emails, too. Always include some sort of subscribe link in the body of your email. This will make it easier for your readers to refer the link along to other people. This is a great method to use to organically grow your base.
